How to log a fuel delivery

Record fuel received from a supplier so it is added to the calculated tank inventory.

Fuel delivery recorded for a farm bulk tank

Add delivered fuel when it arrives

A delivery increases the current tank level and becomes part of the inventory history.

Record the delivered litres from the supplier document. A short reference or note can help connect the entry to a delivery note, supplier or invoice.

  • Add delivered litres to current stock
  • Keep a supplier or delivery-note reference
  • Review and correct recent deliveries

Record the delivery

  1. Open the main menu and select Fuel inventory.
  2. Under Record fuel delivery, enter the Delivered litres.
  3. Add a Reference / notes value if needed.
  4. Select Record delivery and confirm the new entry in Recent deliveries.

If a delivery was entered incorrectly, an administrator can edit or delete it from Recent deliveries and the inventory will be recalculated.

How it works

  1. Confirm the delivered quantity.
  2. Record it in Fuel inventory.
  3. Check that it appears in Recent deliveries.

Fuel deliveries affect the shared tank inventory rather than an individual vehicle or machine.
